I got a whole heap of cones for this weekend. It will mostly be parking practice again out at this parking lot at the lake. Practice makes perfect :]

It’s not really a lake per say. Tis but a reservoir. Fun fact, a lot of the original dinosaurs at our museum of natural science came from this area while they were digging it out. Brontosaurus, a T Rex, and something else.

When I first started to drive, we lived in a neighborhood that had no off-street parking. Everything was parallel, and oftentimes the spaces were damned small. I was driving an ‘82 Rabbit with manual steering and a stick. And I got bloody proficient at it. The other family car was a Caprice 4-door, and I could park that sucker too. First try, every time. Ever since I moved to TX, I’ve had either a space in the apartment lot or a driveway. My parallel parking skills are now non-existent. I truly suck at it. And it’s embarrassing.

I suck at parking. I’m the guy who pulls into winco, gets out, turns around and notices that I’m crooked by about 3 degrees... so I get back in my car and repark once or twice UNTIL IT’S PERCECT

She’s doing great. What I did with my daughter was practice parallel parking and parking backwards/head-on in Forza. I used a Mazdaspeed 3 and she used a Fiesta (sadly, no 1st gen xB in Part 3).
